Florida State’s Twitter account left everyone confused with a nonsensical countdown graphic

Florida State’s social media department has had better years.

Back in July, the football team’s recruiting account drew plenty of criticism for celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a graphic of MLK wearing a receiver glove and doing the tomahawk chop.

On Monday, the official Florida State football account didn’t necessarily post anything controversial. Instead, it left the entire college football world confused when it tweeted a graphic to countdown to the start of FSU football.

The account tweeted a photo of a giant wide receiver Tamorrion Terry, who wears No. 15, standing over Doak Campbell Stadium with a big ole “4” alongside him.

It looked like a poor attempt to say “154 days,” which obviously wouldn’t be correct.

FSU camp starts in four days, and the Seminoles’ first game is 33 days away. But why include a player wearing No. 15 in there? It made no sense. The tweet left fans trying to figure out what it was supposed to mean.
