Florida State is making some progress on the recruiting trail during its open date, including an offer to a notable legacy prospect.
Shilo Sanders _ the son of FSU and NFL legend Deion Sanders _ announced Wednesday that the Seminoles offered him a scholarship.
Shilo is a three-star cornerback prospect in Cedar Hill, Texas. The 6-foot-180-pound senior also holds offers from Georgia, UCF, Nebraska and South Carolina, among others.
His father has been more involved in the program since FSU hired Willie Taggart in December.
