Eye witnesses have spoken of their horror following a shooting at a nightclub in Florida.
At least two people have died and 17 people have been injured in the shooting in Fort Myers. One of the victims is understood to be 13 years old.
It is understood the attack took place during a 'teen night' at the club, prompting concerns many of the victims may be young people.
Eyewitness Tatianna Nouhaioi told ABC News: "It was a young teen event. There were kids. The kid I was holding in my lap, he was 14-years-old that got shot.
"And then there was a little girl who also got shot and she was 13. One of the security guard's daughters got shot and she was 13."
Syreeta Gary, whose daughter was at the club, told Fox 4 News her daughter was "dodging bullets and running, dropping between cars".
She said: "It's ridiculous that these kids have you other people there who have criminalistic minds- they just want to terrorise things.
"I just thank God that my daughter is OK because she could have been shot."
Timothy Settles streamed a video to Facebook Live showing himself lying on a hospital bed, wearing a neckbrace, after apparently being shot in the attack.
He also posted a status to the social media site which read "I don't want to die."
Three people are in police custody in relation to the incident. In a statement, authorities said there are two active crime scenes in relation to the shooting and investigations are on-going.
They said officers are: "actively canvassing the area looking for other persons who may be involved in this incident."
