Florida’s Dan Mullen gets crushed by college football fans after awful fake punt call

The Florida Gators are hosting the Auburn Tigers in what has been a very entertaining game between two top 10 teams so far at The Swamp.

But the most entertaining play might have been one that proved to be an epic fail for the Gators. Florida coach Dan Mullen, who likes to do these type of things, called for a fake punt in his own end during the second quarter that did not go well at all.

Punter Tommy Townsend took the snap and immediately ran straight ahead and didn’t even come close to getting to the line of scrimmage.

Yeah, not much creativity there.

Making things worse, Auburn scored a touchdown on the very next play. Life comes at you fast.
