A robber has taken several hostages at a bank in Jacksonville, Florida, and a Swat team is on the scene.
Members of a SWAT team are at the scene, police have said.
An unknown number of hostages are inside the Community First Credit Union, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Melissa Bujeda said.
She said an initial 911 call indicated someone may have been shot, but the police were unable to confirm that.
Police negotiators are also on the scene.
