It was an affair to dismember.
A Florida man had his penis cut off after having an affair with his neighbor's wife, according to Gilchrist County police in the Sunshine State.
Alex Bonilla is accused of busting into the mobile home of a neighbor who he caught sleeping with his wife in May and detaining the 32-year-old man at gunpoint. Bonilla reportedly tied up the unidentified victim and made clear he'd kill the man if he fought back. Bonilla then forced the man into the bedroom, where the alleged infidelity may have occurred. Then came the scissors.
"The Victim stated that the Defendant took the Victim into his bedroom, tied him up, and forcefully cut off the Victim's penis with a pair of scissors," according to the Gilchrist Sheriff's office. "The Victim stated that the Defendant then fled the Victim's residence with the Victim's severed penis in his possession."
There were two juveniles in the victim's home when the cut-and-run occurred.
Bonilla went back to his own home across the street Saturday morning. He was apprehended later that day while at work.
The 49-year-old was charged with multiple felonies including false imprisonment, aggravated battery, and cruelty to a child, He was armed with a Sig Sauer 9-mm. pistol when he entered the victim's trailer through an unlocked door, police said.
