Florida man pours beer into alligator's mouth, encourages it to bite him, officials say

ORLANDO, Fla. _ Two Florida men were arrested and jailed after one of them caught an alligator and the other poured beer into its mouth and encouraged the reptile to bite him, wildlife officials said, according to news reports.

Timothy Kepke, 27, of Hobe Sound and Noah Osborne, 22, of Stuart were arrested Thursday, TCPalm.com reported.

Osborne caught the alligator with his bare hands, and Kepke was the one who fed it beer and taunted it, said the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, which originally received a complaint about the incident in August.

The attack was caught on video. The gator was later let go, according to the report.

Each man was charged with one felony count of unlawfully taking an alligator.
