ORLANDO, Fla. _ A Florida was arrested for the second time this month after getting caught transporting a gun in a New York airport.
Federal officials say the man was caught Wednesday with a loaded handgun in his luggage while he passed through a security check point at the Syracuse Hancock International Airport, according to Lisa Farbstein, a TSA media official.
The man was caught trying to smuggle a different gun through Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport on Nov. 6, Farbstein said.
The man claimed both times that he didn't know he was carrying his gun, Farbstein said.
