Florida deputy pulls over a speeding car, ends up delivery a baby

ORLANDO, Fla. _ When Sgt. David Drucks spotted a car going 63 mph in a 45 mph zone he pulled it over, but was surprised to find out why the car was speeding Tuesday morning near Naples, according to Collier County Sheriff's Office.

The CCSO Sgt. conducted his traffic stop at 4:30 a.m. on Airport-Pulling Road and found that the passenger of the vehicle was about to give birth.

Drucks quickly called for EMS, and then grabbed a blanket from his car, CCSO said.

Drucks successfully delivered a baby girl to the mother.

Both were fine and healthy when EMS arrived to cut the umbilical cord. EMS then transported the mother and her daughter to the hospital.

Drucks managed to grab a photo with the joyful father - an image that has since been shared 1,200 times and received over 7,000 positive reactions since it was posted Tuesday morning.
