Florida bus aide reportedly yanked Trump hat off teen's head

A Florida bus aide is accused of ordering a 14-year-old to remove his Trump hat and then yanking it off his head, according to a report by WFTS-Tampa Bay.

Gunnar Johansson's mother called police after she said the Martin County school district wouldn't immediately let her see surveillance video of the incident, the TV station reported Friday.

Deputies are investigating whether there was unlawful physical contact between the woman and boy.

"Boy, if you don't (take) that hat off this bus ... take it off," a woman's voice says on video aboard the school bus.

Gunnar later told TV reporters: "I was really confused. I was like, 'I can't wear this?'"

He said he and many Hidden Oaks Middle School classmates were allowed to wear hats to school as part of a March of Dimes promotion, and that other students on the bus were permitted to keep their caps on.

The school district is also investigating.
