Florian Kamberi leaves Hibs and completes St Gallen move

Florian Kamberi has completed his move from Hibs to St Gallen.

The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Swiss side, with the fee undisclosed and Hibs holding an interest in any future move.

Kamberi scored 30 goals in 84 appearances for Hibs, and made nine appearances on loan for Rangers last season.

Easter Road boss Jack Ross had made it clear that Kamberi did not feature in his plans.

In an update on the club's official website, Hibs said: "We wish Florian well for the future."

On their own website, St Gallen's President Matthias Hüppi said: "At the beginning of August 2015, Florian Kamberi scored his first Super League goal in GC's 3-2 win in the Zurich Derby shortly before the end of the game. It was the crucial one.

"I interviewed the young striker back then as a television reporter. In the meantime there have been many games, goals and important experiences. Now we meet again and look forward to the cooperation and decisive goals for our FCSG."
