Florian Kamberi completes Rangers move as Hibs striker joins on loan

Rangers have completed the signing of Florian Kamberi on loan until the end of the season.

The Swiss striker joins from Hibs after a deal was agreed on deadline day to take him across the M8.

Kamberi becomes Rangers' second loan signing of the day after Ianis Hagi joined this morning.

He could make his debut against Aberdeen on Saturday after completing his move, with Jermain Defoe out injured.

The 24-year-old has spent two years at Easter Road after initially joining on loan in January 2018.

He's scored 30 goals in 84 games for the Edinburgh club but will now look to make an impact at Ibrox in the second half of the campaign.

Steven Gerrard made his move after Defoe was ruled out for up to 5 weeks following a calf injury picked up on Wednesday night against Ross County.

Kamberi scored twice for Hibs in his eight games against Rangers.
