Floral tributes left at the Arboretum after 'sudden death' of 19-year-old

Floral tributes have been left at the entrance to the Arboretum in the city centre after the "sudden death" of a young man.

A number of flower bouquets were tied to a lamp post in Waverley Street and several candles and notes were left in his memory.

Police said the body of the 19-year-old was found in the Arboretum at around 7.35am on Sunday, April 28, after reports of a sudden death.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokeswoman said: "Officers now are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the death, which is not being treated as suspicious.

"The man’s family have been informed."
