Floral tributes left at scene of crash which killed young mother Rhianne Nicholas

Heartbreaking tributes to a young mother killed in a car crash have been left at the scene of her death in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Rhianne Nicholas died after a car she was travelling in crashed into a tree in the Penygraig area in the early hours of Saturday.

Floral tributes and balloons have now been left at the scene of the fatal collision with many bearing messages which highlight the shock and sadness felt locally by the sudden death of the 26-year-old.

One of the messages reads: “Rhianne, rest in peace. Beautiful girl. Taken way too soon. So many memories together, you will be missed by everyone. Sleep tight babe. Lots of love x.”

Rhianne’s brother, Scott Nicholas, said: “To many of you she was a friend, to us she is forever a sister and a mother who would constantly try to make you laugh and smile no matter how dark your day and a person who would always put others first even when the world was falling apart around her.”
