Floral tributes left at scene after two people killed in Wollaton crash

Floral tributes have been left at the scene where a man and woman were sadly pronounced dead following a collision. The incident happened around 3:50pm on Monday, March 20, on Bramcote Lane, Wollaton where bouquets of flowers have since been placed.

So far two bouquets have been put at the scene, after it was sadly announced yesterday that the two individuals had died. The flowers have been tied onto a fence where the crash happened.

The incident involved a collision with a minibus. Nottinghamshire Police said five people - including four teenagers - were on the bus, but none of them were injured.

No arrests have been made at this stage. Nottinghamshire Police are continuing with their investigation. The suspected driver of the vehicle is assisting officers as an investigation continues.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, has any information or dash cam footage is asked to call 101 and quote incident number 438 of 20 March 2023.
