
Visitors enjoy roughly 2,500 hydrangeas of 40 varieties bringing vivid color to the early summer season at Hasedera temple in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Saturday. This year's flowers along the "Hydrangea Path" on the temple grounds began blooming about 10 days earlier than usual, which means both the earliest and latest blooming flowers are now at their peak. A special 300 yen fee has been implemented as a measure to avoid crowding during the flowers' peak period.
