'Floored' ITV I'm A Celebrity fans share surprise over same detail as Boy George's real appearance shown amid first 'tension' in camp

Boy George is somewhat known for his big hats, glamourous make-up and extravagant outfits but all that has been stripped away on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here. The Culture Club singer was among the ten campmates who made their way into the Australian jungle when the ITV reality show returned on Sunday (November 6).

And things got off to an interesting start for Boy George as he was voted by the public as one of two 'Jungle VIPs'. However, it wasn't as it seemed as it actually stands for 'Very Isolated Person'. During the music superstar and former Love Islander launch episode, Oliva Attwood were selected by the public to become a Jungle VIP and they got to choose one other person to join them.

While Boy George chose presenter Scarlette Douglas, Olivia opted for radio DJ Chris Moyles and the quartet were whisked off to an island where they had to spend the night. And Boy George caught viewers' attention as he was seen bolt upright in his bed meditating as he tried to get some rest before facing the first Bushtucker challenge of the series.

@Beddy7865 tweeted: "I would scream if I woke up in the middle of night to see Boy George sat bolt up right meditating on his bed #ImACeleb." @ForBallumIWould echoed: "If I woke up in the middle of the night, in the jungle, to see Boy George meditating and sitting up like that, I’d scream and pass out. #ImACeleb." @naomiw_0611 added: "If I woke up and saw Boy George sat up meditating like that I’d s**t myself #ImACeleb."

The first trial then saw Olivia, who has since had to quit the show, and Scarlette. inserting their hands into small wall openings filled with worms in a bid to unscrew pipe fittings and stop the flow of water into chambers holding Boy George and Chris.

The pair were placed into the “torpedo tubes” and made to collect stars dropped into the containers. The celebrities earned eight of the 10 stars, but Chris admitted he had felt uncomfortable in the final minutes.

But again it was Boy George capturing viewers' attention as the 61-year-old shocked with his true appearance. Thought it was one thing more than most that caught fans by surprise.

@NichollsLiese tweeted: "Biggest shock Boy George has hair! I would have had a tenner on him being bald!! #ImACeleb." @sunbabe08 commented: "Boy George without a hat!!!!!! He actually has hair!! This is my take away from that first segment #ImACeleb." @AndyGibsonTV posted: "Anyone else floored by the fact Boy George has hair? I honestly thought he was bald. #ImACeleb."

@Typhooncat3 shared; "#ImACeleb seeing boy George’s hair is so wild to me cause I thought he was bald under that hat for the longest time." @Bob_TheBaldie typed: "Nice to see Boy George unmasked with a full head of hair! Can’t say I’ve ever seen him without a hat on #ImACeleb." @KateSmedders added: "I thought Boy George was completely bald. His thick grey hair has blown my mind #ImACeleb."

Also during the latest visit to camp, Boy George was seen creating some 'tension' as he wasn’t too impressed with his dinner on which was cooked by Charlene. Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Boy George said: “I’m a good cook but when someone has already decided to be in charge of the kitchen, it’s difficult to have your say.”

He later took himself away from the main camp before being joined by Chris. Boy George then told him: "When I ate the food, I felt a bit sick afterwards. I don’t think the mushrooms were cooked. And also it feels like there’s a hierarchy in the kitchen with Mike [Tindall] and Charlene.

"She’s very sweet… I don’t want to be told what to do by someone. She’s quite [a] bossy boots." And fans are already commenting on 'Mushroomgate' with some saying its 'excelling' the 'fueds' have already started while others think it was an over the top reaction.
