Flooding on M8 sees one lane closed - disruption expected

One lane of the M8 at junction 19 for Anderston was closed earlier due to flooding.

Around 6.30am one lane was closed on the off slip.

Traffic Scotland have now announced that the hazard has been cleared but flooding is still causing some issues and drivers are advised to take care.

Traffic Scotland tweeted: "Some flooding affecting the M8 W/B around J19 Anderston, traffic coping well at the moment."

Queues were also building up on the M80 this morning.

North Bound is looking slow at Junction 5 Auchenkilns and Junction 6 Old Inns.
