Flood warnings remain in place in Bury after Storm Christoph triggered a ‘major incident’ in Greater Manchester.
Several properties could be flooded in Radcliffe following days of heavy rainfall.
Warnings are currently in force for homes at Pioneer Mills, Parkside Close and Close Park.
Water levels at the River Irwell at Strongstry are also rising and are expected to remain high until Friday (January 22).
Flooding could be expected and ‘immediate action’ is required, according to the Environmental Agency.
Incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels.
Further flood warnings will be issued if necessary.
On the Gov.uk website, the warning reads: “River levels are rising as a result of heavy rainfall and are expected to remain high until Friday.
“Consequently, flooding for properties adjacent to the River Irwell through Strongstry and Chatterton is possible.
“Please be aware of your surroundings and keep up to date with the current situation.”

Authorities have been monitoring the River Mersey overnight and now believe water levels to have peaked - but are warning that more rain is forecast over the next couple of days.
Four severe flood warnings remain in place on Thursday morning - two for the River Mersey around Didsbury and Northenden, and two for stretches of the River Bollin to the west of Dunham Massey.
An amber weather warning alert has been declared by the Met Office covering Greater Manchester until 12pm on Thursday. An amber alert means 'heavy rainfall is likely to lead to flooding', with the Met Office warning of a 'danger to life' due to fast flowing or deep floodwater.
Greater Manchester Police declared a major incident on Tuesday evening due to the storm.
