Three flood warnings have been issued across Scotland after heavy rain battered large parts of the north east last night.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) says that there is a risk of some flooding in the Dundee, Angus and Tayside areas of the country.
It comes after heavy rainfall lashed down across the area last night with local weather stations recording almost 12mm of showers this morning.
Flood waters have been causing disruption on the roads and drivers have been urged to prepare ahead of their journeys today.

Water levels are expected to peak at around lunchtime, with SEPA warning of flooding to agricultural land around the River South Esk and River Isla.
The Met Office is expecting frequent showers to hit the north east of the country throughout today before becoming more scattered in the evening.
The weather across Scotland in May has been somewhat of a disappointment, with heavy rainfall, high winds and cold temperatures dominating the forecasts.

Forecasters have warned that this month of May could shape to become the coldest in 25 years.
Simon Partridge, of the Met Office, told our partner title the Mirror : “It’s been a disappointing May and at the moment there are no particularly strong signs that trend will change in the next week.”
However, the good weather is expected to roll into Scotland soon with Scots set to bake in a two-week period of sunshine at the end of next month.
Temperatures are anticipated to climb above 20C in parts of the central belt during the predicted heatwave.
