The tragedy happened in The Rich village, Ban Pru, Hat Yai district.

A rescue team finally reached them and took the daughter and her mother's body to dry ground. There, the daughter collapsed, overwhelmed by her horrific experience.
The post drew sympathy, along with urgent calls for help from other residents still trapped in the rising water.
