The Hunter's beaches were packed again on Monday as residents made the most of an early taste of summer over the long weekend.
With temperatures nudging 30 degrees, thousands flocked to the beach, where the water temperature of 16 degrees guaranteed refreshment.
The mercury is predicted to drop a little and there's a chance of rain for the next couple of days before the weather is forecast to fine up in time for next weekend.
