This week is the last chance to see the Floating Earth lit up on the Royal Albert Dock.
The ten-metre replica of Earth will soon be switched off having been on display since Friday, April 28. The artist behind Floating Earth, Luke Jerram, created Gaia - a six-metre replica of Earth previously displayed in Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral and St Chad's church in Kirkby.
Similar to Gaia but bigger, Floating Earth uses NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface, giving visitors the chance to see Earth floating in three dimensions. The artwork uses water as a natural mirror to provide a breathtaking visual effect.

The 10-metre artwork is displayed in the water and illuminated after dusk. The piece is accompanied by a soundscape by BAFTA award winning composer, Dan Jones.
Floating Earth was supposed to be switched off on Thursday, May 18, but due to popular demand, it will now be turned off on Sunday, May 21 at 11.59pm.
Sean Morrison, estate manager at Royal Albert Dock Liverpool said: "We're thrilled to extend the dates for Floating Earth. The response we’ve received from visitors has been incredible, and we want to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to enjoy this breathtaking installation by Luke Jerram."
