INDORE: Flight connectivity between Indore and Shirdi is all set to resume since IndiGo airline has planned to restart regular flight operations on this route.
Preparations are on to resume a daily flight on Indore-Shirdi route after opening of the Shirdi temple for devotees. Earlier, the airline was operating a 72-seater aircraft between Indore and Shirdi daily. The flight always had more than 80 per cent seat occupancy, the airline officials said.
Airport officiating director Prabodh Chandra Sharma said that they were in discussion with the airline to resume flight service on Indore-Shirdi route. “We expect the airline to recommence operation between Indore and Shirdi within a month or so,” he said.
