Just been researching a piece on flexible working for the Guardian's website. I'd seen some research on it that said in spite of the law, flexible working wasn't happening except for senior managers. So I put some feelers out.
What surprises me isn't that there's a spectrum of opinion - that's inevitable when you're comparing people's experiences. It's the sheer emotion that goes with people's view on whether flexible working is happening, whether it's being underexploited or what. Not sure where this vehemence is coming from, but I'll post a link to the feature when it's finished and online.
