Brisbane forward Tom Flegler is facing three weeks on the NRL sidelines for a high shot that knocked out Penrith captain Isaah Yeo.

The 21-year-old Flegler has been charged with a grade three careless high tackle by the NRL's match review committee and could miss just two matches with an early guilty plea.

The Queensland Origin debutant was sin-binned in the ninth minute of Saturday's 18-12 loss to the Panthers which infuriated coach Ivan Cleary, who said Flegler should have been sent off.

Should Flegler choose to fight the charge at the judiciary, he risks a three-week suspension.

Meanwhile, Manly forward Josh Aloiai is facing a two-week ban for his dangerous cannonball tackle that forced Alex Seyfarth from the field with an MCL injury.

Aloiai has been charged with grade two dangerous contact for the illegal manoeuvre in the 31st minute of the Sea Eagles' 44-24 win over Wests Tigers on Saturday night.

With an early guilty plea he will miss next week's clash with Cronulla, but if he unsuccessfully challenges at the judiciary on Tuesday night he will be suspended for two games.

South Sydney star Cameron Murray is also facing two weeks on the sidelines for a crusher tackle on Warriors prop Matt Lodge on Saturday, but will miss just one week with an early guilty plea.

Lodge is facing a one to two week ban for a grade one contrary conduct on Keaon Koloamatangi late in the Warriors' 60-22 loss to the Rabbitohs.
