Fleetwood Mac forced to CANCEL gig after band member falls ill

Fleetwood Mac have been forced to cancel a concert after a band member fell ill.

It's not yet known which member of the legendary rock band has been affected by illness, or what is wrong.

The cancellation was announced by bosses of the venue they were due to play at tonight in Boston, Massachusetts.

A tweet from the official account for TD Garden said: "Due to a band member illness, the Fleetwood Mac show scheduled for tonight, April 2nd, in Boston, Massachusetts will be rescheduled.

"Ticketholders should retain their ticket for the new date which will be announced shortly. Alternately, refunds are available at point of purchase."

Fans replied to the tweet to complain that the cancellation was so last minute, and that they were already on their way to the venue.

The Go Your Own Way hitmakers were meant to be kicking off their 2018-19 tour tonight.

The next performance is scheduled for April 5 in Philadelphia.

The tour is set to take the band all over the world, with dates in the US, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

It is not known at this stage if the rest of the dates will be affected.

However, a source close to the band told Mirror Online the illness is just a minor head cold, meaning the band will hopefully be back in action very soon.
