Fleabag's 'hot priest' Andrew Scott takes to Grindr to find love after split

Fleabag's "hot priest" and Sherlock's big bad Moriarty Andrew Scott has taken to the wildly popular app Grindr to bag himself a new man.

The 43 year old, who rocketed to fame across from Benedict Cumberbatch's super sleuth, split from playwright Stephen Beresford last year.

He's recently been dubbed "world's sexiest man", and is getting back out there by putting himself on the app.

Chatting to the How To Fail podcast, Andrew said: "Sometimes having casual sex with people is what you need to do. It's really important.

"You learn from people. It's not about the length of time you spend with somebody."

He continued: "My life is different now.

"I feel like my attitude towards relationships and my attitude towards myself and sexuality and all that stuff has changed, and that came about from having the courage to be on my own for a bit, quite a scary thing to do.

"When I lived on my own for the first time, I found it really difficult. I feel proud that I've spent by myself because it certainly wasn't easy."

Andrew cemented his heartthrob status when he appeared in 2019's second series of Fleabag, as the "hot priest."

Across from the show's creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Andrew won the hearts of fans.

He also left them heartbroken after walking away from their burgeoning relationship at the end of the series, despite his obvious chemistry with Fleabag.

Andrew's recently appeared in His Dark Materials, sending viewers into meltdown as they recognised their beloved "hot priest."

He's also landed a role in director Sam Mendes' new First World War flick 1917, which is winning critical acclaim, alongside Hollywood heavyweights Richard Madden, Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch.
