The book is about a boy that goes into his brother’s room and finds a heavy photo board which falls on him. He shouts at his mum and dad. They lift it and find he has turned flat. Bearing in mind his name is Stanley, they call him Flat Stanley.
The next day they go to the local pharmacy to see how thin he is and how tall he is. He turned out to be 4 feet tall and half a inch thick.
Now, he loves being flat because he can slide under his door without opening it he can roll up like a mat and go down a drain to get things that has been dropped down He can even be a kite!
My favourite character in the book is Stanley’s brother George Lambchop because he is really small and funny and says really funny things. I like to do a really funny voice when I read what he says.
My favourite part is when the family go on holiday and they can’t afford a plane ticket for Stanley so they put him in an envelope and send him off to America!
I would recommend it to good readers aged 5 to 14 it is a great book you should get it to read. It is great! I would give this book 9 out of10.
