Flasher exposed himself to Scots woman after calling at her home to offer gardening services

A flasher exposed himself to a Fife woman after calling at her home to offer to carry out gardening work.

The pervert approached the woman in Gellatley Road in Dunfermline’s Abbeyview area and asked if she wanted work done in her garden.

After the victim agreed, the pervert followed her to her home and was given £30.

But the suspect never did the gardening job and instead exposed himself to the woman as he left.

Police said the man spoke with broken English and was possibly of European origin. He was around 5ft 6in tall, of medium build, with short light-coloured hair.

He was wearing a green jumper with white writing on it which said ‘tree surgeon’ along with more white lettering on the back. He was driving a white van which had writing on the side, possibly saying ‘gardening services’ or ‘gardening works’.

The incident took place at around 9am on Wednesday, June 16.

Police said anyone who has seen the suspect’s vehicle, recognises his description, or has been approached by a similar person in this way can report the information on 101 by quoting incident number 1910 for June 18.
