Flashbulb! The best parties this week

Hermès-ing grace, Notting Hill

Power pink was the colour du jour at the launch of Twilly d’Hermès Eau Poivrée eau de parfum, where every wall at Laylow was adorned with magenta ticker tape and guests sported crimson silk wristbands. Hum Fleming and Isabel Getty sampled pink gin cocktails, while Missé Beqiri got busy in the Hermès-branded photo booth. The coolest guest of all was Mick Jagger, who slipped in and made a cameo.

Class act, Kensington

Treading the boards was swapped for raising a glass at the Ambassador Theatre Group’s inaugural summer party, held in the gardens of Kensington Palace in honour of Sir Ian McKellen. Paapa Essiedu, Sonia Friedman and Gala Gordon sipped champagne while Phoebe Waller-Bridge, on a rare day off from her sell-out show at Wyndham’s Theatre, congratulated the man of the moment.

Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen, Soho

When Ganni, the Danish brand beloved by the fashion set, touched down in London we knew there was going to be one hell of a housewarming party. Hannah Weiland, Clara Amfo and Bee Beardsworth danced the night away under disco balls at Greek Street’s Union club, fuelled by Ganni-branded pizzas, while bartenders (dressed in leopard-print shorts, natch) poured vegan Whisky Sours.

Eco wonder, Kensington

For the launch of her new sustainable lifestyle brand Ecofetes, Yasmin Mills hosted a dinner at the new studio she runs with her eco-chef boyfriend Justin Horne. With a vegetarian, organic menu on offer, guests included Camilla Rutherford, Daisy De Villeneuve, Caroline & Arnaud Massenet & Sadie Frost, who is collaborating on a collection of homeware with the brand. Yasmin’s daughters Lauren & Maddie were also close at hand to support the new venture.

A very English affair, Marylebone

To celebrate a collaboration that will make interior buffs swoon, Rita Konig and Plain English hosted a party at the Plain English London Showroom. Konig has created an exclusive paint collection for Plain English, which has launched to coincide with London Design Festival. Guests dined on a menu created by Rochelle Canteen to complement the collection's colour palette, including snacks of butternut squash arancini, lemon posset and duck rillettes with cornichons.
