Into the wild, Cornbury Park

Lashings of fizz and Rose McGowan in a rather dazzling tiara? Yes please, Wilderness. At the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Garden, Betty Bachz and James Norton got the party started, while Tom York made full use of the wicker chairs to recharge after a lavish lunch at Blenheim earlier in the day.

Blenheim brilliant, Oxfordshire

Blenheim was the only place to prep for a long night of dancing at Wilderness, particularly when the party at the palace, courtesy of the Gentleman’s Journal and Bicester Village, included copious champagne. Isaac Carew and Laura Whitmore fell on the fans handed out during lunch under the sun, while Edwin Ryder made several new friends — thanks to his pocket-sized bottle of factor 50.

Screen the house down, Embankment

A smattering of rain couldn’t dampen the opening night of this year’s Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House. Sonny Hall and Zezi Ifore turned out for the UK premiere of Pain and Glory, which was introduced by director Pedro Almodóvar and stars Antonio Banderas and Penélope Cruz — who made a few wry jokes about playing Banderas’ mother, despite being 13 years his junior.
