Door to Dior, Mayfair

When Kim Jones and Nikolai von Bismarck teamed up to produce a bumper book of Dior menswear, there was always going to be a stellar party involved. Naomi Campbell, Daniel Lismore and the Mossy posse (Kate and daughter, Lila Grace) turned up for the launch of The Dior Sessions at the designer’s flagship store, while Alexis Taylor DJed and Von Bismarck signed copies.

Progress report, Kensington

Rachel Johnson, Adwoa Aboah and Munroe Bergdorf joined the politicians, writers, models and media moguls du jour at the Design Museum for the Evening Standard’s Progress 1000 Gala, celebrating the most influential people in London. Hackney-born singer Arlo performed and hero PC Stuart Outten’s speech — which he delivered via video link — received the biggest applause of the night.

Belstaff room, Regent Street

Belstaff launched its London flagship on Regent Street this week, with a fully English-themed menu of cocktails to get guests in the mood. Sipping on Portobello Gin, Espresso Martinis with Black Cow vodka and Full English Negronis, attendees danced the night away with DJ sets from James Massiah as well as Soho Radio Residents: Norman Jay MBE and Primal Scream’s Simone Marie.

Art breakers, Mayfair

Sotheby’s mixed art with high fashion at its 275th anniversary drinks party over Frieze week, where guests gathered at the gallery on New Bond Street before a Warhol exhibition and party number two at the Victoria Beckham store nearby. Eva Longoria and Takashi Murakami joined the Beckham clan for Don Julio cocktails and Lady Mary Charteris and Fat Tony hit the decks.

POSH’S PALOMA

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Don Julio Reposado
  • 60ml grapefruit juice
  • Fever Tree Soda
  • Garnish with dried grapefruit wedge

How To:

  • Simply pour 50ml Don Julio Reposado and 60ml grapefruit juice over ice and strain into an ice-filled glass.
  • Top with soda water and lightly stir.
  • Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
