Sir Paul Smith’s address book proved nearly as impressive as his swish suits at a dinner to celebrate his label’s 50th anniversary, held at Le Trianon theatre in Paris after a showing of the AW20 collection. Guests were treated to 50 of the designer’s favourite songs on vinyl, and while nearly everyone wore the brand, Sir Ian McKellen won best-dressed for his natty pair of sun-printed socks.
