It was a moving moment for poet (and ES cover star) Sonny Hall to see his friends and loved ones gathered at Found and Vision for the launch of his debut book of poems, The Blues Comes with Good News. London’s great and good turned out to support the wordsmith, sup wine courtesy of Laylow and marvel at the flower-strewn interior — installed by Sonny himself, one painstaking petal at a time.
NO CHAMPAGNE, NO GAIN, Kensington
A starry guestlist including Natalie Dormer and Freddie Harrel turned out for the Veuve Clicquot Business Women Awards at the Design Museum, where they feasted on salmon sashimi, beef carpaccio and, of course, champagne.
GREAT SCOTT’S, Mayfair
Pippa Vosper hosted Roland Mouret and Stephanie Phair for cocktails at the launch of Scott’s Christian Louboutin Summer Terrace. Nori-cured salmon and roast cod matched the private dining room’s new ‘under the sea’ makeover, complete with tropical fish tank, while Sophia Hesketh was very on-theme in a blue suit.
