Flash BMW seized by cops on Scots street after driver found with no licence or insurance

A pricey German convertible has been seized by cops on a Scots street after the driver had no papers.

The flash BMW is now being looked after by Police Scotland.

Roads cops had pulled dark blue the soft-top over and quizzed the driver in Dundee.

They discovered that they had no insurance or driving licence and then seized the vehicle.

Cheeky police put out a picture of the BMW with the word 'ooops!' covering the number plate after the seizure near a City of Discovery high rise.

They have now issued a warning to other drivers to make sure their paperwork is in order before they travel.

A tweet from Roads Policing Scotland today read: "Dundee (roads police) earlier today seized this vehicle as the driver had no insurance or licence.

"Make sure your documents are in order before you travel."
