Flanagan or Ozturk and a striker dilemma - pick your Sunderland XI to take on Ipswich

Sunderland welcome Ipswich Town to Wearside on Saturday afternoon aiming to leapfrog their opponents in the EFL League 1 table.

The Black Cats currently sit seventh and will move into the play-off places if they take all three points.

Phil Parkinson's side did suffer a setback down at Portsmouth last weekend, losing 2-0 but prior to that were unbeaten in their previous nine league outings.

Parkinson was able to name an unchanged team for that trip to Fratton Park, but won't be able to do so for the visit of the Tractor Boys.

The boss is likely to recall defender Tom Flanagan, who last started in the 4-0 win against then leaders Wycombe, due to the injury to Joel Lynch.

A big call could also come up-front, where Parkinson could be forced to change his point of attack.

Striker Charlie Wyke hobbled off at half-time of the defeat to Portsmouth, although he has not yet been ruled out entirely.

If he isn't fit to start both Will Grigg and January signing Kyle Lafferty are ready to come into the side meaning Parkinson could have a tough decision to make.

Fans have been surprised by the lack of game-time for defender Alim Ozturk recently and it is likely that January arrival Bailey Wright will again get the nod on Saturday.

The Black Cats have benefited recently from a settled side, only using 13 players in eight starting line-ups since Boxing day, but Parkinson now has choices to make.
