Flamingo Land: Man dies at popular theme park during family holiday

A man died suddenly while on a family holiday at Flamingo Land theme park.

Emergency services were sent to the North Yorkshire site on Thursday morning, July 15.

There were reports a man had collapsed after being take ill, Hull Live reports.

Paramedics were first on the scene and called police to attend after the man’s sudden death.

North Yorkshire Police are now investigating the circumstances of his death.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Police were called to Flamingo Land Residential Park at Kirby Misperton, Malton, at 10.34am on Thursday (15 July 2021) after paramedics reported the sudden death of a 30-year-old man.

“It appears that the man had taken ill and collapses while on family holiday.

“Officers are investigating the circumstances of the death.”

Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed they were on the site of the caravan park to attend to a medical incident.
