- The property of another former prime minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, and political party headquarters were also targeted during the unrest.
- The protests, which led to Mr Oli stepping down, were initially triggered by a government ban on social media platforms including Facebook, X, and YouTube.
- The government subsequently lifted the social media ban after protests intensified, resulting in the deaths of at least 19 people.
