Jamie Lee Curtis excitedly mouthed 'shut up' after taking to the stage to accept her first ever Academy Award.
The 64-year-old won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once - and became overwhelmed with emotion when making her acceptance speech.
Paying tribute to her loved ones, she said: "I know it looks like I am standing up here on my own but I am not. There are hundreds of people and hundreds of people. We just won an Oscar. To my family, my beautiful husband, Christopher Guest, my daughters, Annie and Ruby, my sister Kelly – we just won an Oscar.
"To all of the people who have supported the genre movie's that I have made for hundreds and hundreds of thousands, we just won an Oscar together."
Looking to the ceiling, she added: "And my mother and father were both nominated for Oscars in different categories, I just won an Oscar."
Jamie Lee, who has enjoyed a career spanning almost 50 years, is the daughter of Hollywood icons Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis.
She has previously won a BAFTA award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Trading Places in 1984, and was awarded two Golden Globe awards for Best Actress in a TV series for her role in Anything But Love in 1990 and Best Actress in a Motion Picture in True Lies in 1995.
However, Jamie Lee wasn't the only Everything Everywhere All at Once star taking home an award at the ceremony, with Ke Huy Quan taking home the award for Best Supporting Actor.
Quan paid tribute to his mother and brother as he accepted the award - mentioning how his journey began on a boat before going on to live 'the American dream'.
The actor received a standing ovation as he took to the stage and said: "My mom is 84 years old and she is at home watching. Ma I just won an Oscar!"
He added: "My journey started on a boat. I spent a year in a refugee camp and somehow I ended up here on Hollywood’s biggest stage.
"They say stories like this only happen in the movies. I cannot believe this is happening to me – this is the American dream.
"Thank you so much to the academy for the honour of a lifetime."
