ORLANDO, Fla. _ A Sanford mall Santa has to say his "ho, ho, hos" elsewhere after telling two children that Hillary Clinton was on the naughty list.
Last week an actor playing Santa Claus at Seminole Towne Center angered a parent for telling an ill-timed political joke to two children, reported Orlando CBS affiliate WKMG.
"Do you know who is on my naughty list? Hillary Clinton," said a Facebook post from the children's mother, reported WKMG.
Now the Santa has been reassigned to a new mall and given training.
"The Santa mentioned in recent reports in Florida is still employed by us, in a different location," said a statement from The Noerr Programs, the company that runs the Santa Claus displays.
Seminole Towne Center has a new mall Santa Claus to take gift requests from kids.
"Santa was given additional training to ensure that he remains in the character of Santa during all future appearances," said a statement from Seminole Towne Center. "Santa is a symbol of peace, joy and goodwill for all and we are pleased that we are able to bring this cherished symbol to the communities we serve."
