FKA Twigs has revealed details of her first London gig for more than four years.
The British artist, who recently ended a three-year wait for new music with the release of her comeback single Cellophane, will play one night at Alexandra Palace Theatre on May 28.
It will be her first headline show in the capital since she sold out the Roundhouse in 2015.
She confirmed the news with a post on Twitter, which detailed further shows in Los Angeles, Berlin and Sydney. It also hinted at the name of what seems to be a forthcoming project: Magdalene.
FKA Twigs first came to prominence with the release of EP1 and EP2, in 2012 and 2013 respectively, which marked her out as one of the most distinctive artists of her generation, mixing soul, R&B and glitched-out electronics.
It was followed in 2014 with her debut full-length, LP1, which was nominated for a Mercury Prize, as well as 2015’s M3LLI55X and the 2016 single Good to Love.
Cellophane was released on April 24 and the accompanying video has already racked up more than half a million views.
