The company has introduced the Kajka X-Latt 45, a lighter, stripped-back version of its long-standing Kajka backpack, designed for multi-day trips where reducing weight matters but comfort and support still come first.
Built on the foundations of the original (and rather sizeable) Kajka series, the new model keeps the brand’s signature durability and load-carrying capability, while trimming excess to create a more streamlined pack.
A classic pack, reworked for lighter missions
Rather than chasing the fully frameless, bare-bones approach often associated with ultralight setups, Fjallraven has taken a more balanced route.
The Kajka X-Latt 45 retains a supportive carrying system that helps distribute weight over longer distances, along with an adjustable back length to fine-tune the fit for the wearer and load.
That positioning puts it somewhere between traditional trekking packs and the newer wave of minimalist designs, championed by brands such as Gossamer Gear, appealing to hikers who want to carry less without giving up structure.
