The Ralf Rangnick era is officially up and running.
The 63-year-old German staged his first press conference as Manchester United's new interim manager on Friday morning at Old Trafford and he didn't fail to disappoint.
Speaking with knowledge and passion about the challenge that lies ahead, Rangnick made a solid first impression, meaning he appears to have got the United fan base onside ahead of his first game in charge against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford.
While Rangnick's primary aim is to improve results, improve United's style of play and bring the feel-good factor back to the club, the German's future consultancy role is bound to help the Reds make the correct progress both on and off the pitch.
Furthermore, his arrival at Old Trafford, given his track record and expansive coaching career, could prove to be useful for the development of some of the club's younger players, who are either knocking on the door of the first-team or threatening to break into it in a year or so down the line.
Rangnick, who was poached from Lokomotiv Moscow, has a reputation for taking youngsters under his wing and developing them into fine, seasoned professional footballers.
But which United youngsters could benefit most from his arrival at Old Trafford? Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at five youngsters, who are showing tremendous levels of potential, that could be helped massively by Rangnick's appointment.
Teden Mengi
Joining United at the age of just seven-years-old, Mengi has made his way through the ranks at the club's Carrington training base and has already earned his senior debut for the club, featuring in the last-16 of the UEFA Europa League against LASK last season.
Despite plenty of hype surrounding the 19-year-old centre-back, who was a regular under former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in pre-season, first-team opportunities this season have not been forthcoming, with him not once making the match-day squad.
But considering United have experienced a few defensive troubles in recent weeks, and will be in need of revamping their central-defensive options before too long, Mengi is a player that will, no doubt, be looking to impress Rangnick on the training pitch.
If he does that, the German may be prepared to take him under his wing and slowly plot him a path towards becoming a regular amongst the first-team squad.
Amad
Perhaps the youngster that will benefit most from Rangnick's arrival, Ivory Coast international Amad has failed to kick-on at Old Trafford following his big-money arrival from Atalanta almost a year ago.
The winger was set to leave United on transfer deadline day during the summer, but his temporary loan switch to Feyenoord collapsed at the very last minute because of an injury problem.
Now back fit and firing, Amad has not seen the door to the first-team opened, meaning it remains to be seen if United will look to send him out on loan in January.

However, Rangnick, given his development of youth in the past, may be keen to retain the £37million signing and see what he can bring to the table.
Tahith Chong
After making a blistering start to life on loan at Birmingham City earlier this season, Chong was stopped in his tracks by a serious thigh injury last month, meaning he now faces the prospect of five months on the sidelines.
It was a devastating blow for the lightning-quick winger, who had become a firm fans' favourite at Birmingham within weeks of his arrival.
Despite facing a long road to recovery, Chong, given his previous loan spell at German outfit Werder Bremen, is likely to be a figure well-known to Rangnick, considering the new United chief has spent much of his life managing in the Bundesliga.
Whether Chong will make a return to action before Rangnick's time in temporary charge is up remains to be seen. However, with Rangnick staying at the club beyond the end of the season, his presence could help Chong get himself on the right path and help him break into the first-team. At the age of just 21-years-old, his United dream is still very much alive - and the potential is there.
Shola Shoretire
One of the most promising players currently applying their trade for United's Under-23s, Shoretire, who is playing well above his age bracket, has no shortage of admirers inside Old Trafford.
Former boss Solskjaer was a huge fan of the 17-year-old versatile attacker, so much so that he awarded him three first-team appearances last season, two of which came in the Premier League, albeit in cameo roles.
Nevertheless, you do not earn that chance without having potential about you, and Shoretire has that in abundance. Capable of playing out wide or through the middle, he has scored five goals in 15 appearances at youth-level this term, and his qualities are bound to grab Rangnick's attention.
At just 17, his potential is sky high and it would be no great surprise to see him feature for United in the FA Cup third round next month, if they are drawn against a side in the lower reaches of the English football pyramid.
Anthony Elanga
After scoring twice in pre-season and finding the back of the net on the final day of the Premier League season last term, almost everyone expected Elanga to be United's next breakthrough star.
However, the Swede, who is only 19-years-old, has, so far, not seen an opportunity open up. Instead, he has continued to perform for the club's Under-23s so far this season, scoring five times in ten games.
A versatile attacker, who can play either out wide or up front, Elanga has no shortage of potential and Rangnick's arrival at the club could provide the opening that he has been in need of.
He has the potential to become a star at Old Trafford and Rangnick, with time and his experience, could be just the man to unlock Elanga's pathway.
