Five-year-old detained by ICE left traumatized, parents say

  • A 5-year-old boy, Liam Conejo Ramos, and his father, Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in January while returning from preschool.
  • After nearly two weeks in a Texas detention center, they were released and returned home to Minneapolis following a federal judge’s order.
