Five Whale launches novel tech investment course

Thailand's executive education academy Five Whale has launched the "Alpha Wealth" course to help individuals in managerial and human resource positions to develop a solid understanding of high-technology investment.

Suphachai Sukhanin and Pichanya Kanchanaporn, managing directors of Five Whale Co, said this unique programme is set to equip executives and individuals with the necessary investment knowledge in the ever-changing digital era.

It will also serve as a pathway to introduce and expose Thai investors and market movers to the international area of digital investment and marketing.

Top executives and people at any level of investment experience are invited to join and foster an inclusive environment where they can freely share their knowledge regarding futuristic investments, including the metaverse, deep technology, cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens.

Furthermore, the course takes students on a one-week business trip to Israel's Silicon Wadi, dubbed the centre of scientifically and technologically advanced startups. There, students will gain first-hand experience in learning all the investment trends from startups which may eventually lead to business opportunities.

Silicon Wadi's proportion of investment in science research and innovation accounts for 4.3% of Israel's GDP.

There are more than 8,200 startups there which, when compared to the country's population of nine million, is the largest proportion in the world.
