Emergency services have raced to the scene of a five-vehicle collision on the M80 motorway.
Traffic has been heavily disrupted on the northbound section of road, at junction 5 to junction 6, with both lanes blocked as a result.
Traffic Scotland confirmed: "#M80 N/B J5 to J6- both lanes are BLOCKED due to a multi vehicle RTC. Traffic is managing to pass but is at a standstill on approach. All emergency services on scene."
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed to Glasgow Live: "We were called to the scene of a five-vehicle collision at around 5.20pm."
The police also confirmed nobody has been injured as a result of the crash.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were contacted by Glasgow Live for comment, however no detail could be given at the time.
