Five people will face court after breaching coronavirus directions in South Australia, including a man and a woman who crashed a truck in Adelaide after allegedly arriving from Victoria.

On Saturday, police were called to a minor crash at suburban Pasadena with checks revealing a man, 26, and a woman, 27, had not completed a cross-border application before arriving from Victoria.

They were arrested and charged with failing to comply with COVID-19 directions.

In other incidents, a man arrived on a flight from Melbourne on Friday and allegedly gave false information to airport staff.

The 49-year-old from the Northern Territory was later arrested at a city hotel.

Also at Adelaide Airport, a man arrived on a flight from Queensland on Saturday night and failed to comply with emergency management directions.

The 35-year-old was further charged with hindering police and disorderly behaviour.

On Sunday police arrested a man after he allegedly drove through the Wentworth checkpoint in the state's Riverland.

He was initially pursued by patrols and was later detained after trying to steal a car and a motorbike and allegedly assaulting residents at a local property.

The 30-year-old of no fixed address has been charged with a string of offences including breaching COVID-19 directions, assault and aggravated criminal trespass.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court on Monday.
