BHOPAL: A total of five new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in the city on Friday taking the count of cases reported so far to 1,23,266.
Reports of a total of around 7,015 samples were received on Friday. Positivity rate, which is the number of people testing positive out of every 100 samples tested, was around 0.07% in the city on Friday. This means that if 1,400 samples are tested only 1 person will be tested positive, said sources.
On the brighter side, 10 people recovered from the disease. With these people recovering from the disease the total number of people who have recovered in the city reached 1,22,191. Apart from the new cases, as per the official sources no deaths were reported in the city. Covid-19 has so far claimed 1001 lives in the city.
