Nov. 18--1. The Clippers have to get better on defense. Good teams don't give up 105 points like the Clippers did against the Chicago Bulls.
The Clippers were scorched in the third quarter, giving up 31 points on 57.1% shooting to the Bulls, 50% (four for eight) on three-pointers.
The Clippers didn't rotate much on defense, giving up layups, wide-open three-pointers and wide-open jumpers.
2. The key word for the Clippers after the game was trust.
They talked about trusting their offense and not going one-on-one.
Well, they had just 20 assists on 36 made field goals. Chicago, on the other hand, made the extra pass and then another extra pass in getting 28 assists on 39 made field goals.
3. The Clippers got outrebounded again, this time 45-40 by the Bulls.
That makes it seven out of nine games that the Clippers have been outrebounded.
DeAndre Jordan had 17 rebounds and Blake Griffin had 10, but no other Clipper had more than four.
4. J.J. Redick struggled with his shot again.
He missed eight of his 10 shots against the Bulls and had just five points.
Redick was one for three from three-point range.
5. Jamal Crawford continues to fill it up off the bench.
He led the Clippers in scoring with 24 points on 10-for-17 shooting.
Crawford also had five assists.
